Digital Services Regulations (DSA)

GranPlaza.eu , operated by DIGITAL MARKET LUIVI, SL , entered the European Union market in 2023. In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on Digital Services (the "DSA" or "Digital Services Act"), we provide the following information about our compliance and operations in the EU.

Average Monthly Active Recipients

In accordance with Article 24(2) of the DSA, GranPlaza.eu monitors and reports the average number of monthly active recipients of our services in the European Union.

Calculation Methodology: We developed this calculation to meet our DSA requirements, and it should not be used for other purposes. Where we have shared user metrics in other contexts, the methodology and scope may differ.

Updates: We will continue to monitor the average number of monthly active recipients of GranPlaza.eu services in the EU and will publish updated information at least every six months in accordance with Article 24(2) of the DSA.

Note: Our approach to developing this calculation may evolve and require modifications over time, for example, due to new technologies or regulatory updates.

Moderation and Content Policies

GranPlaza.eu is committed to maintaining a safe and reliable environment for all users. In compliance with the DSA, we have implemented the following measures:

Product Recommendation System

In accordance with Article 27 of the DSA, we provide transparent information on the main parameters of our recommendation system:

Product classification criteria:

  • Search relevance: Match with user search terms
  • Popularity: Bestselling and highest rated products
  • Availability: Priority given to products in stock
  • Price: Price range selected by the user
  • Ratings: Verified customer reviews
  • New: Recently added products

Users can modify these criteria using the filters available on the results page.

Data Access Portal

In accordance with Article 40 of the DSA, GranPlaza.eu provides a Data Access Portal for qualified researchers.

Access for researchers:

We make publicly available data from GranPlaza.eu available to qualified researchers upon approval of their request. This access is designed to facilitate research on the systemic risks and social impact of digital services.

Application process:

  • Researchers must submit a formal application
  • Verification of academic or research credentials
  • Data usage agreement in accordance with the GDPR
  • Review and approval by the Data Ethics Committee

Transparency Reports

In compliance with Article 42 of the DSA, GranPlaza.eu publishes regular transparency reports that include information on:

Report contents:

  • Number of reports received about illegal content
  • Actions taken in response to reports
  • Content moderation decisions
  • Use of automated detection systems
  • Requests from government authorities
  • User resources and appeals

Transparency reports are published every six months and are available at our Transparency Center .

Child Protection

In accordance with Article 28 of the DSA, GranPlaza.eu implements special measures to protect minors.

Age restriction:

The GranPlaza.eu service is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18 or children as defined by applicable law. Our terms of service require all users to be of legal age.

Report a Minor's Account

If you believe that a minor has created a GranPlaza.eu account or provided us with personal data in any way, you can request to delete the account and associated personal information.

Reporting Process

1. Online form: Complete the minor's account report form

2. Direct email: child-safety@granplaza.eu

3. Required information:

  • Full name of the minor
  • Approximate date of birth
  • Email or account username
  • Relationship of the complainant to the minor (father, guardian, etc.)
  • Documentation that proves the relationship (optional but recommended)

Response time: We process these requests with top priority, usually within 24-48 hours.

Mechanism for Reporting Illegal Content

In accordance with Section 16 of the DSA, we provide an easy-to-use mechanism for users to report content they consider illegal.

Types of content you can report:

  • Counterfeit or copyright-infringing products
  • Hazardous or prohibited products
  • False or misleading information about products
  • Content that violates the rights of third parties
  • Discrimination or hate speech in descriptions/reviews
  • Any content that infringes EU law

Review Process

All reports are reviewed by our moderation team:

  • Immediate confirmation: You will receive a confirmation that the report has been received.
  • Initial review: Evaluation within 24-48 hours
  • Decision and notification: We will inform you of the decision made
  • Right of appeal: If you disagree with our decision, you may file an appeal

Dispute Resolution Systems

In accordance with Article 21 of the DSA, users may appeal our content moderation decisions through certified out-of-court dispute resolution bodies.

Independent Audits

Systemic Risk Assessment

We conduct periodic systemic risk assessments in accordance with Article 34 of the DSA, identifying and mitigating risks related to:

  • Manipulation of the service with an impact on democratic processes
  • Adverse effects on public safety and public health
  • Effects on children and vulnerable people

In accordance with Article 26 of the DSA, GranPlaza.eu guarantees transparency in advertising:

  • Information about the segmentation parameters used
